Absinthium Bohemicum

Absinthium Bohemicum – Probably the oldest Czech absinth.

The old recipe from 1866. Our absinthe “Absinthium Bohemicum” was created in a process of slow distillation of selected herbs from Silesian mountains including wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) and mugwort Pontus (Artemisia pontica). This “bitter liqueur”, later known under the name absinthe, Mr. Albert Michler was treating after the Austro-Prussian war soldiers sick with cholera. The success of unconventional therapy made famous Absinthium Bohemicum as a healing spirit.
